I Have Seen the Future and It’s Unmanned

The future of ground combat, aerial combat, and space will all be largely unmanned.

Just as ICBMs first changed bombers into planes that carry missiles (ok, not completely), other unmanned systems will also change the future of warfare.

It isn’t he who dies with the most toys wins; it’s he who has the best war toys wins.

Now we have Preds going into Libya.  Similarly, Pakistan is making a stink about UAVs which are making life difficult in places their government either fears to tread or is looking away on.

It’ll all take a while but the trend will continue to be irresistible.
