The amount of highly enriched uranium held by the U.S. depends on who you ask.

The Project on Government Oversight says nearly 400 metric tons.

Others like the International Panel of Fissile Materials says something–if fact, a lot–less, 60 metric tons.

Splitting the difference is the image above, which provides an estimate of about 260 metric tons.
