Israel: Emerging Space Superpower?

With the support (and funding contributions) of the Israeli government, Israel is aiming to sell $8 billion of space goods and services.

That’s a pretty ambitious goal based on a current sales level of about $2.5 billion, but if Israel can pull it off, their efforts would even garner attention by Department of Defense and NASA funding standards.  At least one estimate puts the world’s “space economy” at $250 billion.

Israel’s niche is microsats, but it could move towards the nanosats and picosats.

Their upcoming Incline mission will weigh only 25 pounds.
